The Russian Foreign Ministry condemned the terrorist attack on the international airport in Niger.

Russia strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the Niger International Airport and other attempts to undermine the stability of the Republic and other Sahel countries. This was announced on June 20 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"Moscow is concerned about the June 18 attack by anti–government militants on Niamey International Airport, the capital of Niger, which is friendly to us... "We strongly condemn another terrorist attack trying to undermine the stability of the Confederation of Sahel States, of which Niger is a member," she said on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
