Sergunina spoke about Mosvolonter's training programs
120,000 residents of the capital and other regions of Russia have already become participants in the educational programs of the Mosvolonter resource center. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow Natalia Sergunina.
"Over the entire period, Mosvolonter has prepared more than 40 courses and trainings, as well as 54 teaching aids. They help to learn about the volunteer movement, develop leadership skills and teamwork," said Natalia Sergunina.
According to her, the volunteer training system has allowed the formation of 2.6 thousand volunteer corps to organize regional, federal and international events, from a citywide graduation party to the international exhibition—forum "Russia". Volunteers also participate in patriotic actions dedicated to Victory Day and the anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War.
The educational programs are designed for both beginners and experienced volunteers. For beginners, the "Get Involved!" training is suitable, which is dedicated to the basics of the volunteer movement and the organization of major events. Courses on team management and the development of their own training programs are aimed at more experienced participants.
The resource center's website provides online courses available at any time, and full-time programs are available throughout the year. You can choose the appropriate direction in the "Training" section.
Over the 12 years of its operation, the Mosvolonter Center has brought together more than 1.6 million people and organized tens of thousands of events. The development of the volunteer movement and the involvement of young people in urban events correspond to the objectives of the national project "Youth and Children" and the federal project "We are Together".
