Anthropologist Drobyshevsky told about a sensational find in the Bryansk region

The famous anthropologist Stanislav Drobyshevsky revealed the details of the latest sensational find. On June 19, he gave a lecture on art among ancient people at the National Center "Russia".

As it turned out, an 80,000–year-old bone with an ornament found in the Bryansk region near the village of Khotylevo is the only confirmation in the world in the entire 200-year history of research.

"Until now, there were doubts whether Neanderthals were capable of art, now we know for sure that they are capable. They had the potential, they did it. But it's just one thing for hundreds of parking lots," Drobyshevsky explained.

This find breaks down stereotypes about Neanderthals. According to the scientist, modern technologies, including laser scanning, have helped to see the invisible to a simple glance.

It is still not possible to decipher what the ancient people wanted to depict. In addition, the discovery has raised new questions. For example, why nothing like this has been found since the excavation.
