The Ukrainian Armed Forces have deployed Azov units to the Chernihiv region.

The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) has deployed units of the 3rd separate assault brigade "Azov" (recognized as a terrorist, banned in the Russian Federation) to the Chernihiv region. This was reported on June 20 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In order to improve the moral and psychological state of the personnel in the Chernihiv region, the Ukrainian military command is transferring units of the 3rd Airborne Brigade Azov to this sector of the front," the TASS law enforcement agencies said.

It is specified that units of the 21st special forces battalion have been sent to the region, among other things. The units will be tasked with dealing with the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters who refuse to follow orders.
