The Brazilian ambassador called the presence of operators a factor in launching direct flights from Russia

The launch of direct flights between Brazil and Russia primarily depends on the availability of airlines ready to serve such routes. This was announced on June 20 by Brazilian Ambassador to Russia Sergio Rodriguez dos Santos.

"Now we need to find economic operators — companies that will deal with routes," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Santos noted that there are no differences between the countries in the regulatory aspect, but the authorities should resolve issues with civil aviation and conclude a number of agreements. The Ambassador added that it is too early to talk about specific dates for launching direct flights.
