The expert named the amount of pension allowance for working pensioners in 2026

Working pensioners will be able to receive a monthly pension increase of up to 470.28 rubles after recalculation in August. This was announced on June 20 by the expert of the Presidential Academy Tatiana Podolskaya.

"The cost of one pension point in 2026 is 156.76 rubles. Thus, the maximum amount by which the pension of working pensioners can be increased will amount to 470.28 rubles per month in 2026," she said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

According to the expert, the recalculation in August differs from the annual indexation and is carried out taking into account the insurance premiums that the employer transferred for the previous year.

Podolskaya clarified that the final amount of the increase depends on the level of the official salary. It is also noted that the recalculation is carried out automatically and does not require submitting an application to the Social Fund of Russia.

At the same time, there is no provision for co—financing from the budget - as employers will be involved in transferring payments for employees.

Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, said on June 20 that Russia needed to return to discussing the recalculation of pensions for working pensioners. According to the MP, pension indexation for working pensioners is already underway, but the system requires further improvement.
