On June 19, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), special representative of the President of the Russian Federation for investment and economic cooperation with foreign countries, commented on Poland's decision to deprive President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky of the Order of the White Eagle.

In this way, he reacted to a post by journalist Chay Bose that Polish President Karol Nawrotsky decided to deprive the Ukrainian leader of the order.

"Poland has finally discovered supporters of Nazism in Ukraine," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

On June 19, Navrotsky stripped Zelensky of the republic's highest state award, the Order of the White Eagle, because of his glorification of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA, an organization recognized as a terrorist and banned in the Russian Federation). The reason for the decision was the assignment of a name to one of the Ukrainian military units, referring to the UPA. Navrotsky stressed that the state award is a symbol of the highest trust, which requires unconditional respect.
