A program for learning Arabic in schools has been approved in Russia

The Arabic language learning program in Russian schools has been approved and will begin operating on September 1, 2026. This was announced on June 19 by the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov during a meeting with his colleague from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Sarah bint Youssef Al-Amiri, and the Ambassador of this state, Mohammad Ahmad Aljaber.

"We have been hosting the Arabic language Olympiad for three years, and a program for studying Arabic in Russian schools has been approved, which will begin operating on September 1 of the new academic year," the press service of the Ministry of Education quoted him as saying on the Telegram channel.
