This was announced on June 19 by the press service of the automaker.

During his visit to the enterprise, Manturov got acquainted with a new-generation four-wheel drive frame SUV produced in Ulyanovsk, based on the Sollers ST9 pickup truck. The pressing line has started stamping a wide range of body elements made of Russian galvanized metal produced by Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works for the Sollers ST6, ST8 and ST9 (CT9) pickup truck line. In the future, the company will produce parts for new Sollers S9 SUVs, as well as UAZ vehicles, the company said. (C9) and UAZ cars.

The total investment in the project amounted to 1.1 billion rubles, of which 850 million rubles were attracted as a concessional loan from the Industrial Development Fund under the Automotive Components program. Earlier, on June 8, it became known that Sollers launched mass production of passive safety system components: steering wheels, airbags and system control units.
