In Kuzbass, a child fell into a coma after heat stroke in a locked car
In Kuzbass, a seven-year-old boy fell into a coma from heat stroke, which he received after being left in the car by his mother. This was reported on June 19 in the press service of the Kemerovo region — Kuzbass police.
"The duty station of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Tashtagol district received a message from a medical institution that a seven-year-old child had been taken to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed him with heat stroke. In a coma, the child was placed in the intensive care unit," the department said in a statement on the VKontakte social network.
During the organized inspection, it turned out that the boy came with his mother to Tashtagol from Novokuznetsk. The woman, who needed to leave on her own business, decided to leave him in the car, having previously blocked the doors there. It was established that the victim's mother was gone for about three hours, after which she returned to the parking lot and found her child unconscious.
A criminal case has now been opened against the Russian woman in accordance with Article 125 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Abandonment in danger"). She could face up to a year in prison.
Law enforcement officials urged Russians to remember that being in a closed car, especially in the summer, can lead to tragic consequences.
The day before, it became known that the teacher of one of the kindergartens in the Saratov region, pinching the child's finger, did not give him first aid, but sent him to the hospital with an open fracture. The victim's mother, who told Izvestia about this, added that the preschool staff did not deal with the pupils and intimidated them.
