- The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation instructed to check the work of management companies in military camps
The Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Alexander Gutsan, instructed to deal with cases of non-fulfillment by management companies of duties related to the maintenance of residential buildings in military camps. On Friday, June 19, the head of the supervisory authority holds a reception for citizens in Yekaterinburg.
In the course of personal communication, residents of the Sverdlovsk region spoke about the most pressing problems, most of which related to the protection of their social rights. So, one of the residents of the region complained about the state of the communal infrastructure of one of the military towns.
"There's only one thing I don't understand here: people live, people pay for utilities, and this mess with management companies who try by hook or by crook not to fulfill their responsibilities is at least perplexing. To say more, there are questions. Is that why this is happening?" said the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation.
Gutsan instructed the military prosecutor's office, taking into account the previously given instructions, to report the situation on the state of housing and communal services and to give a principled assessment of the actions of responsible services.
In total, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation received 26 citizens at a personal reception. Alexander Gutsan gave instructions to immediately sort out the problems of participants in the special military operation and their family members, as well as other socially vulnerable categories of citizens — orphans, disabled people, and pensioners.
In May, the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation called the delay by the Federal Bailiff Service in the execution of decisions on the conversion of assets into state revenue a serious problem. He pointed to systemic miscalculations in the activities of the Federal Property Management Agency and the bailiff service, which have not established effective asset management, their safety, sale and involvement in turnover.
