Sechin declared stability in the Russian fuel market

Rosneft guarantees the provision of fuel to socially significant facilities, budget enterprises, industry and agricultural producers. This was stated by the head of Rosneft, Igor Sechin, answering questions during the annual meeting of the company's shareholders in the city of Bolshoy Kamen, Primorsky Krai.

According to Sechin, the oil products market is currently experiencing a difficult situation. "There are objective, fundamental and situational factors: high seasonal demand, intensive agricultural work, unscheduled refinery repairs," explained the head of Rosneft. Nevertheless, according to the head of Rosneft, there is no need to talk about fuel shortages. Given that petroleum products are practically not exported, and everything produced remains domestically, the oil products market remains stable now and will remain stable in the medium term.

According to Sechin, there are practically no restrictions at Rosneft gas stations. "We do not welcome the use of canisters, but we fill the tanks as usual. There is no need to inflate the hype, all gas stations are 100% ready to work," Sechin explained. According to him, the company carefully monitors the state of the market and intends to do so in the future in order to identify problem areas in time and ensure the availability of fuel for all consumers of the company. "Some suppliers are reducing volumes, which creates additional difficulties, but at our gas stations we guarantee refueling to all consumers," Sechin said.
