On July 2, Moscow will host the social entrepreneurship forum "More than Business," said Natalia Sergunina, Deputy Mayor of the capital. The event will be attended by representatives of the business community, city and federal agencies, non-profit organizations and development institutions.

"In two years, more than three thousand people have become participants of the forum. This time, dozens of expert sessions, lectures and master classes were prepared for the guests. The program will consist of four thematic blocks dedicated to the creation, promotion and scaling of socially oriented businesses, as well as the search for partners," said Natalia Sergunina.

In the "More than an idea" section, experts will tell you how to develop and implement your project. They will teach you how to use project tools and analyze suitable business models for starting, including social franchising.

Representatives of the business community will speak on the track "More than growth", participants will discuss issues of strengthening the team, finding new niches and exploring new markets.

Within the framework of the "More than promotion" block, those who wish will be helped to master modern marketing tools, build interaction with marketplaces and establish additional sales channels.
The "More than Partnership" section will be dedicated to the cooperation of socially oriented enterprises with large businesses in Russia and abroad.

"Social entrepreneurship is not charity or subsidies. This is a contribution to the quality of human life and the development of territories. When a business solves the problems of orphans, people with disabilities, or large families, it acquires a real asset in the form of social capital. We see companies moving from one-time promotions to scalable projects aimed at achieving systemic effects. And here it is important to find best practices and actively disseminate them. I am sure that the forum will become an excellent platform for such work, too," said Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.
