Sechin assessed the financial impact of digitalization for Rosneft

The financial effect of the implementation of platform solutions and AI technologies in Rosneft by the end of 2026 should exceed 100 billion rubles. This was announced by the head of the company Igor Sechin. According to him, in the first four months of this year alone, the economic effect has already reached 44 billion rubles.

Speaking at the annual general meeting of Rosneft shareholders, which was held in person in the city of Bolshoy Kamen in the Far East, Sechin stressed that the company considers digitalization and information technology as one of the key drivers of operational and economic efficiency growth.

"With the help of our technologies, more than 85% of all technological parameters of the company have already been collected and controlled, including: 100% of drilling rig data, 96% of well stock, 98% of refinery installations, 62% of electricity meters. This corresponds to the best international practices of our Western partners," said the head of Rosneft.

Sechin also called Rosneft the only company in the country that fully provides itself with a full range of catalysts for the production of high-octane gasoline. This situation has made it possible to reduce dependence on imports from 90% to zero in five years, he added.
