A man who pushed a child into an enclosure with crocodiles was arrested in the UK.

British police have detained a man on suspicion of attempted murder after a three-year-old boy was found in a crocodile enclosure. This was announced on June 18 by the press service of the British law enforcement agencies.

"Officers were called to the zoo at 13:24 (15:24 Moscow time) following reports of an incident with a three—year-old boy, during which he ended up in an enclosure with crocodiles," a statement on the police website said.

It is noted that the boy was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, his condition is assessed as critical but stable.

According to police, a 30-year-old Norfolk resident has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. According to preliminary information, he was not familiar with the child.
