In Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a pedestrian was injured in an accident involving a foreign car. This was announced on June 19 by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Sakhalin Region.
According to preliminary data, the driver of a Chevrolet car did not give way to a Honda Stepwgn car and, avoiding a collision, drove into the oncoming lane, as a result of which he hit a building. After that, the car was thrown at a pedestrian who was walking in the same direction.
"As a result of a traffic accident, an 84-year-old pedestrian was injured. An investigation is underway into this fact," the Telegram channel said.
On June 18, the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Russian Interior Ministry reported that 321 accidents were recorded on Russian roads during the day, killing 37 and injuring 355 people. 27 of the dead were drivers and passengers.
