In Kaliningrad, a car hit a pole on the right in the course of traffic, as a result of a traffic accident, the driver died on the spot. This was announced on June 18 by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate.

"The driver, born in 1974, driving a Renault car, hit a light pole on the right as he was driving. As a result of the accident, the driver died on the spot," the agency said in a publication on the Maks messenger.

It is noted that the incident occurred on the street of Lieutenant Colonel Yemelyanov. At the moment, traffic police officers are working at the scene, and the circumstances of the accident are being established.

The State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reported on June 18 that 321 road accidents were recorded on Russian roads over the past day, in which 37 people were killed and 355 injured, 27 of the dead were drivers and passengers. It was noted that 17 accidents involving buses were recorded, in which there were no fatalities, but 17 road users, including one child, required medical assistance.
