Kuban operstab called fake reports on pollution of the Black Sea

Information about an increase in the level of chemical pollution in the Black Sea off the coast of the Krasnodar Territory and an increased level of parasite pollution in the rivers of the region is not true. This was announced on June 18 at the regional operations center.

"Information about the increase in chemical pollution in the Black Sea off the coast of the Krasnodar Territory, as well as about the increased level of pollution by parasites in the rivers of the region. This is fake!", — the message on the Telegram channel says.

The ministry explained that the authors of the online publications referred to the Rospotrebnadzor report "On the state of sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population of the Russian Federation in 2025." However, the information provided in the document refers to the past year. At that time, studies of seawater were conducted after the accident with oil tankers in the Kerch Strait, so at the moment this information is irrelevant.

The authorities also stated that the report did not contain data on water sampling in the rivers of the Krasnodar Territory.
