A girl cyclist died when hit by an SUV in Khanty-Mansiysk

The hit-and-run occurred on Thursday afternoon, June 18, at the intersection of Shevchenko and Doronin streets. According to police, the 62-year-old driver of a Toyota SUV hit an eight-year-old girl who was riding a bicycle through an unregulated pedestrian crossing.
The young cyclist suffered various injuries and was taken to the hospital. According to the <url> news agency, the doctors could not save the girl, the injuries were too severe.
