Putin congratulates Russians on the upcoming Sabantuy holiday

On June 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin sent warm wishes to the Russians in honor of the upcoming Sabantuy holiday, marking the end of spring field work.

"Of course, we are always happy to welcome foreign guests, the interest they show in our history, culture and the rich folk traditions of Russia. And, by the way, one of these ancient traditions, ancient traditions, is the Sabantuy holiday, which will be held here in Kazan these days. <...> I would like to congratulate everyone who will celebrate these events," the Russian leader said during his speech following the Russia—ASEAN summit.
