Alexandra Mitroshina is a Russian millionaire blogger, writer, activist and media entrepreneur, known by the nickname "Mother of Lies". Her early years, career and the circumstances of the criminal case are described in the Izvestia article.

Early years and education

Alexandra was born on June 27, 1994 in Petrozavodsk (Republic of Karelia). In early childhood, his parents went to Moscow to work, and Sasha was sent to relatives in Belarus for a while — later the family reunited in the capital. Since childhood, I have been seriously engaged in karate and reached the black belt.

Her love for texts manifested itself early: at about the age of 12, she started an online diary in LiveJournal, which thousands of people eventually subscribed to. In 2015, Mitroshina graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Lomonosov Moscow State University, and in 2017 she received a master's degree from the Higher School of Economics.

Career and blogging

After graduation, Alexandra worked at the Moscow FM radio station, while simultaneously developing a personal blog. She started an Instagram account (owned by Meta, recognized as an extremist organization in Russia and banned) in 2011 and from the very beginning perceived it as a full-fledged business project. The real popularity has been brought by fitness content related to karate and a healthy lifestyle.

Since 2017, Mitroshina has started selling online courses on social media promotion and fitness. In 2020, based on her Instalogy course, she released the book "Promoting personal Blogs on Instagram", and in 2021— a book about training and nutrition, "Sasha Fitness". In 2020, the autobiographical film "Gone to be a Blogger" was also released. The blogger's Instagram audience has exceeded 4 million subscribers.

In 2019, Mitroshina became one of the key organizers of the flash mob #Janehotelaumir, which drew widespread attention to the problem of domestic violence in Russia. She created an online mutual aid platform for women victims and actively advocated for the criminalization of domestic violence.

Life in Dubai

Since 2022, Mitroshina has been living in Dubai with her husband, entrepreneur Timur Koshkarov. In emigration, she continued her media activities and in 2024 founded the Moova Space dance studio with twerk, high hills, hip-hop and afrodance directions.

The criminal case

In 2023, a criminal case was opened in Russia against Mitroshina for tax evasion in the amount of more than 127 million rubles. According to investigators, she used the fragmentation of the business to avoid taxes, and then legalized the money through real estate transactions.

She was detained on March 7, 2025 at Sochi airport. The girl was charged with money laundering on an especially large scale (Article 174.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), which threatens up to 7 years in prison. Later, on March 10, 2025, the court sent the blogger under house arrest with a ban on using the Internet and means of communication. Mitroshina pleaded guilty.

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow issued a verdict on June 18, 2026: Alexandra Mitroshina was found guilty of laundering 127 million rubles and sentenced to three years of probation and a fine of 900 thousand rubles. The blogger's real estate worth a total of 115 million rubles is subject to confiscation into state ownership.
