Russian Foreign Ministry welcomes memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran

Moscow welcomes the agreement reached on ending the conflict between the United States and Iran and hopes for strict compliance with the understandings reached between them. The corresponding statement was published on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry on June 18.

"We welcome the agreement reached on ending the military conflict between the United States and Iran, which was fixed by the presidents of the two countries. <...> We note the firm mutual commitment demonstrated by Washington and Tehran to strictly comply with the terms of the signed memorandum of understanding," the ministry said in a statement.
