Blogger Lerchek (real name — Valeria Chekalina) continues to fight against stage four stomach cancer. The prosecutor's office demanded a second forensic medical examination after footage of her intense training sessions while undergoing chemotherapy appeared on social media. All the details are in the Izvestia material.

Prosecutor's check

The prosecutor's office has applied to the Gagarin Court of Moscow with a request to conduct a second comprehensive forensic medical examination of blogger Valeria Chekalina, a source told Izvestia. The reason for the appeal was publications on social networks in which the defendant demonstrated active sports during the days of regular chemotherapy courses.

The supervisory authority highlights the contradiction between the blogger's lifestyle and the previously stated state of health. According to the documents, before that, Chekalina published information about an operation to restore vertebrae that were destroyed by metastases.

"I request the recovery of the medical record of the defendant Valeria Valeryevna Chekalina and the appointment of a comprehensive forensic medical commission examination against her," the case file says.

Blogger's health status

Valeria Chekalina continues her fight against stage four stomach cancer. The blogger's fiance Luis Squicciarini said that she has already undergone seven courses of chemotherapy. According to him, the treatment is yielding positive results, although the patient suffers from edema and temporary vision problems. Footage of Chekalina using a mobile system to administer drugs under pressure was posted on social media.

The blogger's relatives try to support her during a difficult period. Luis Squicciarini told subscribers that Valeria's hair is falling out due to therapy, but she remains combative and tries to spend more time with her children.

"Lera is holding up great! Wish her good health and pray for healing! We all believe in it. Children need Lera! In this video, she swelled up due to the dropped protein and hormones," he wrote on his blog.

Discussion in the media space

The authenticity of Chekalina's diagnosis became a topic of discussion on federal television. TV presenter Andrey Malakhov suggested that the story of the disease may be invented to promote the new cosmetic brand Eyya Skin. However, Dana Borisova, who was invited to the broadcast, disagreed with these arguments, expressing her support and regret to the blogger.

Earlier, Otar Kushinashvili, a journalist, expressed doubts about the truthfulness of the disease. In response to the criticism, Valeria's relatives published extracts from her medical records, and her brother Rodion Chekalin urged them not to believe the rumors, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. Singer Egor Creed also spoke out in support of Chekalina.

Despite intensive treatment, Chekalina continues to do business and has already paid off tax debts to the state. To pay off her debts, her ex-husband Artem Chekalin sold the house for 176 million rubles. At the same time, during the rehabilitation, the blogger decided to refuse to attend social events.
