High fire danger was predicted in three municipalities of Kamchatka

High and extreme fire danger was predicted in five settlements of the Kamchatka Territory. Unfavorable conditions will persist from June 19 to June 25.

A high risk of fires is expected in the village of Dolinovka in the Milkovsky district, the villages of Kozyrevsk and Klyuchi in the Ust-Kamchatsky district, as well as the villages of Slautnoye and Kamenskoye in the Penzhinsky district. The KamchatkaMedia news agency writes about this.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds that any carelessness can cause a fire, including a fragment left in the grass or a car passing through dry vegetation. Locals are asked to refrain from making bonfires.

According to the head of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, Alexander Kurenkov, the situation with fires in the country is assessed as controlled. The main indicators are decreasing compared to the same period in 2025.
