The CSTO condemned the Ukrainian Armed Forces attack on a bus with children in the Bryansk region

Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) On June 17, Taalatbek Masadykov condemned the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on a bus carrying Belarusian children in the Bryansk region.

"I strongly condemn this criminal act. I am convinced that there is no justification for such actions against civilians, especially children," Masadykov said in a comment posted on the Telegram channel of the CSTO press service.

He also expressed his condolences to his Belarusian colleagues in connection with the attack.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a bus carrying a children's football team from Gomel to Gelendzhik on June 17. The victim of the tragedy was one person, a woman who turned out to be the wife of one of the coaches. According to the latest information, eight people were injured.

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the terrorist act. Information about the incident was brought to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, which demanded an explanation from Kiev. Minsk promised to identify all those involved in this strike and bring them to justice.
