The Grad MLRS crew destroyed the AFU strongholds in the Dobropolsky area of its territory.

The Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the 268th self-propelled artillery regiment of the 27th Guards Motorized Rifle Division of the Center group of Forces destroyed the strongholds and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) formations in the Dobropolsky area of the special military operation. This was announced on June 18 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that the enemy's strongholds were identified by operators of reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles during aerial reconnaissance. After detecting the targets, the scouts transmitted their coordinates to the artillery units.

"Priority manpower, pillboxes (long-term firing points. — Ed.), if they find it. Calculations of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles. — Ed.). <...> We go out, work on them, destroy targets. Everyone should, <...> in some emergency situations, <...> [be able to] replace each other," said Yuri Loskutov, commander of the combat vehicle.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the BM-21 Grad MLRS crew quickly took up a firing position, deployed and inflicted fire damage on the enemy with 122-mm unguided rockets. At the end of the firing, the gunners immediately left their position in order to eliminate the possibility of a retaliatory strike. The destruction of all Ukrainian targets was recorded on objective surveillance footage.

"My job is to leave, another to visit, shoot back, the third to protect us from the sky, so that everyone is in their place, everyone is doing their job. This allows you to effectively perform tasks and save equipment," said the driver Valery Kotelnikov.

The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the coordinated interaction of the rocket artillery calculations of the Center group of forces makes it possible to open and suppress enemy defense sites in a short time, as well as destroy its manpower and UAV control points. This ensures the successful advance of Russian motorized rifle units in the Dobropolsky area of the SVR.

To destroy them, aircraft use high-precision bombs with UMPC modules.

On June 17, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the FAB-3000 aerial bomb had destroyed the last supply artery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Krasny Liman, the Seversky Donets River crossing. Units of the 67th Division captured six enemy strongholds and 61 buildings in the northwestern part of the city. During the day, up to 20 servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a pickup truck, a US-made M777 howitzer and six ground-based robotic complexes were destroyed.
