Makhachev will make his first UFC title defense against Garry in Philadelphia

Russian fighter Islam Makhachev will make his first welterweight title defense against Irishman Ian Machado Garry at UFC 330. The fight will take place on the night of August 15-16 in Philadelphia (USA).

Makhachev fought 29 fights in MMA, scoring 28 wins with one loss. In his last fight, he won the UFC welterweight title, becoming the organization's first dual champion from Russia.

His opponent Ian Machado Garry has a record of 17-1. In the last fight, the Irishman defeated former champion Belal Muhammad by unanimous decision.
