Kamchatka's Shiveluch volcano has released ash at an altitude of more than 8 km above sea level. This was announced on June 18 by the Kamchatka branch of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution United Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences in the Maks messenger.
According to satellite images, the ash emission reached 8.3 thousand meters above sea level.
The Shiveluch volcano spewed ash to an altitude of 9 km above sea level on June 12. Shiveluch also made an ash release on June 4. The height of the ejection was about 8 thousand meters above sea level.
