A court in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk region, arrested for five days a college student who placed an order at a pizzeria in the name of Adolf Hitler. This was announced on June 17 by the head of the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the region, Valery Gorelykh.

"The judge of the Leninsky district of Nizhny Tagil <...>, having reviewed the materials of the territorial Department of Internal Affairs, found local resident Timofey Vakhonin guilty of spreading Nazi symbols," TASS quoted him as saying.

It is specified that the young man made an order at the Depot shopping center using the name of Hitler. He was later arrested and repented of his actions, saying that he was not a supporter of Nazi ideology and did not realize the consequences of his act.

Gorelykh also added that the student had previously demonstrated symbols prohibited for public use on the Internet and at his place of study. In addition, the issue of further education of the student at the college will be considered in the near future.
