The Dolgostroy sports complex in Krasnoyarsk will be completed by the end of 2027.

Krasnoyarsk plans to complete the construction of the Vodnik sports complex on Semafornaya Street by the end of 2027. The City Planning Department has already issued a permit for the work, according to the city administration.

We are talking about the Dolgostroy sports complex at 357 Semafornaya Street. The facility will be built by the developer as part of the obligations under the integrated development agreement.

According to Alexander Navrodsky, deputy head of the city's urban planning department, construction of the Semaphore sports complex began in 2016, but the developer was unable to complete the construction due to "economic circumstances."

"Thanks to the mechanism of integrated territorial development, it was possible to establish mutually beneficial cooperation with the construction company and include the facility in social obligations, saving the city from long—term construction," Navrodsky said.

The two-storey building will house a multi-purpose gym, a fitness and shaping room, a gym, changing rooms and showers, coaching rooms and a medical room. The project also provides for the construction of a conference hall, a lobby with a cloakroom and a foyer, as well as a buffet, according to the KrasnoyarskMedia news agency. The construction is expected to be fully completed by the end of 2027.
