- More than 100 thousand pieces of equipment were taken out through a city service in Moscow
Since the launch of the "Removal of unnecessary items" service in 2021, Muscovites have transferred about 100 thousand units of large-sized equipment for recycling. This was reported on the website of the Moscow City Hall on Wednesday, June 17.
The service allows Muscovites to conveniently and environmentally dispose of old equipment. Users can order the removal of large and small household appliances, office equipment, as well as disassembled appliances, the Moscow City News Agency reports.
All the devices were sent for sorting, where suitable materials were prepared for reuse, and dangerous substances were safely disposed of. Bulky equipment remains the most popular category, Moscow 24 clarifies.
