Zenit and Spartak will play for the Russian Super Cup in Nizhny Novgorod on July 18.

Nizhny Novgorod became the venue for the Russian Super Cup match between Zenit St. Petersburg Football Club (FC) and Spartak Moscow FC. This was announced on June 17 by the Russian Football Union (RFU).

"On July 18, Zenit and Spartak will play for the first trophy of the season at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. This decision was made by the bureau of the RFU Executive Committee," the organization's Telegram channel says.

The exact time of the start of the match, as well as the start of ticket sales, will be announced later.

The Athletic reported on June 15 that the International Football Federation (FIFA) intends to invite Russia to a new under-15 youth tournament to be held in the United States in September this year. The competition will be open to all 211 members of the federation, including Russia. The opening match of the tournament is scheduled between the national teams of Israel and Palestine.
