PSB has published a report on sustainable development for 2025
The PSB presented a public report on sustainable development for 2025, prepared taking into account the new Standard of public business capital. According to the bank's press service, PSB became one of the first in Russia to use this tool to assess the social and environmental impact of its activities, as well as its contribution to achieving national development goals.
The report is also compiled in accordance with the standards of the Global Reporting Initiative and the recommendations of the Bank of Russia and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. 40 quantitative indicators have passed an audit and an independent external audit. To increase the transparency and comparability of the data, they are disclosed over a three-year period.
According to the bank, the document reflects the results of work in key areas of sustainable development. In particular, PSB increased the availability of financial services in all regions of the country, supported strategically important sectors of the economy and enterprises of the military-industrial complex, expanded support measures for clients and employees, developed services for military personnel, veterans and their families, and also participated in social, educational, environmental, sports and charitable initiatives.
"For the PSB, sustainable development is primarily a real contribution to the development of the country's economy, people and the long—term sustainability of society. The Bank has extensive experience in implementing the principles of sustainable development in all regions of the country and makes a significant contribution to achieving national goals. In our public report, we show not only what the bank has done in 2025, but also how important this work is for customers, employees, and the economy. The new report has become an important step for us towards an even more detailed disclosure of the bank's public capital," commented Galina Sekirinskaya, Vice President and Head of the PSB's Sustainable Development Department.
Simultaneously with the publication of the report, the PSB announced that it would promote the Standard of Public Business Capital as an ambassador.
