A woman was killed in a train collision in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

In the Yemelyanovsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a woman was killed as a result of a freight train collision. An inspection is underway, according to the Eastern Interregional SU for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

The hit-and-run occurred on Tuesday, June 16, between Minino and Pugachevo stations. As a result of the incident, a female pedestrian received various injuries, from which she died in an ambulance.

A pre-investigation check has been organized under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport." All the circumstances of the incident are being established, writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

On June 5, a man was killed by a train in Novo-Alexandrovsk (Sakhalin region). The incident occurred during the daytime near the platform, and an inspection is underway.
