A new Neus car brand may appear in Russia, and its first model will be the V27 crossover from the Chery concern, which was originally announced to debut on the Russian market under the iCaur brand. This was reported on June 17 by the Chinese Cars portal.

According to him, the AGR holding plant in Sestroretsk, St. Petersburg, has received certificates of conformity for a model with the code name S5d, which in China is iCaur V27. At the same time, in addition to the Neus brand, Esteo also appears in the certification documents of the new SUV, which was created as a direct replacement for Exeed.

Thus, it is possible that the V27 model will appear in Russia under one of these new brands. It is noted that the Neus trademark was registered in Russia by Etijay Rus, a company associated with the Chinese Defetoo, back in early 2025. Currently, the iCaur V27-based model is in the process of obtaining Vehicle Type Approval (OTT), which will allow it to begin official sales in the Russian Federation.

The iCaur brand officially launched the V27 crossover in China, and the next stage for the company will be the Russian debut of the model, which is scheduled to take place in 2026, was officially announced on March 17. The iCaur V27 has a gasoline internal combustion engine that acts as a generator and power reserve booster, while the electric unit is responsible for movement. The total power of the system is 455 hp.
