The Pearl of Siberia mega-resort will be built in the Tyumen region. It is planned to invest 89 billion rubles in the project. His concept was presented at the "Travel!" forum.
The resort will occupy an area of 236 hectares. IA " <url>", referring to the Russian Union of Tourism Industry, writes that this is one of the largest tourism projects in Russia. More than 10 facilities will be built on the territory, including a two-level tunnel with a year-round ski run, the Ancient Sea thermal Center, hotels, sanatoriums, sports grounds, restaurants, cafes, a theme park with an immersive aquarium and 3D and VR technologies, and a shopping gallery.
According to the deputy head of the region, Andrey Panteleev, 4- and 5-star hotels will be built first, followed by the construction of sanatoriums and apartments. There will also be a science center in the complex. There will be covered walkways between all buildings. In the future, the resort will be able to accommodate more than 1 million tourists.
The entire complex should be ready by 2030. In 2025, a study of the territory where the resort will appear was carried out to prepare the plan.
Earlier it was reported that this year a large—scale road project will begin in the Tyumen region - the construction of a second bypass road worth almost 20 billion rubles. A new modern highway will become an alternative to the existing southern part of the Tyumen Ring Road. Thanks to this highway, a significant part of transit traffic will be redirected bypassing the regional center. The length of the second ring will be 20 km, and it will include two transport interchanges. The facility's commissioning will connect three federal highways.
