Employees of the shopping mall detained the owner of a popular Telegram channel in Ukraine

The owner of the popular Ukrainian Telegram channel was detained by employees of the shopping mall after a series of publications about possible violations in defense procurement. This was reported on June 17 by the newspaper "Страна.иа ".

"The owner of the Ukrainian Telegram channel Trukha announced his detention by the staff of the Shopping Mall and connects it with materials against the head of the Ministry of Defense [of Ukraine Maxim] Fedorova," the message says.

Lavrinenko claims that over the past month he has been preparing materials on corruption in the defense sector, which, according to him, could lead to one of the largest scandals in the military.

He also said that he faced pressure during his work. The owner of Trukha was tracked down and detained by five employees of the shopping mall, who, according to his information, acted on the personal instructions of the Minister of Defense.

On June 12, Russian law enforcement agencies announced that employees of the shopping mall, together with representatives of the police in Ukraine, forcibly mobilized more than 40 young people between the ages of 18 and 24. They were accused of collaborating with the Russian Armed Forces in 2022.
