Sergunina spoke about voting for the best tourist routes in Moscow

Voting for the best tourist routes of the "Show Moscow!" competition has started on the website of the Active Citizen project, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

"This year, the citizens have sent a record number of applications: about a thousand. The experts selected 58 of the most interesting excursions for voting. Many of them are devoted to history, culture, and architecture. A lot of works have been received in new categories related to cinema and gastronomy," Sergunina said.

Voting will last until July 12. According to the results, 11 winners will be determined in different administrative districts. The three best works of certified guides and 10 leaders in the nominations of the competition will be selected by the jury. It included representatives of the museum community, the tourism industry, the capital's departments, and participants from previous seasons. The laureates will receive diplomas and memorable gifts, and their tour routes will appear in the Russpass magazine.

Among the options for which you can vote is a tour of Peredelkin, where Boris Pasternak, Korney Chukovsky, Bulat Okudzhava once lived; a route dedicated to the development of the Troitsk science city, as well as a walk from the Japanese garden in the Main Botanical Garden named after N.V. Tsitsin of the Russian Academy of Sciences to the Chinese park "Huamin". Users will also be able to cast their vote for a gastronomic route to places of pan-Asian cuisine, cycling tours of VDNKh and the Losiny Ostrov National Park, and a guided tour of Zelenograd's cinema locations.

For the first time, the "Show Moscow!" contest was held in 2020. Over the course of seven seasons, its participants have completed more than 3.5 thousand routes.
