In two hours, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 44 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the skies over the regions of Russia. This was announced on June 17 by the Russian Defense Ministry.
"In the period from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., 44 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.
