One person was killed as a result of a strike by the US Armed Forces on a ship in the Pacific Ocean.

The United States has attacked a ship believed to be used by drug traffickers in the Pacific Ocean, killing one person. This was announced on June 16 by the Southern Command of the United States Armed Forces (SOUTHCOM).

"The joint task Force Yuzhnoye Kopye delivered a deadly kinetic strike on a vessel [allegedly] operated by terrorist organizations," reads a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It is specified that two men survived the impact.
