The Italian MEP called the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacks on Romania a threat to EU sovereignty.

On June 16, Danilo Della Valle, an MEP from the Italian opposition 5-Star Movement party, wondered since when the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have the right to strike targets located in Europe.

"You ignored an important detail: in the case of Constanta, the Ukrainian Navy admitted that it had notified the Romanian authorities. Therefore, I ask you: since when has Ukraine had the right to strike commercial and civilian targets on the territory of the European Union?" he said at a plenary session of the European Parliament, quoted by RIA Novosti.
