Mendel said Zelensky lied to Western leaders about Ukraine's alleged victory
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is lying to the leaders of Western states about Kiev's successful conduct of military operations. This was announced on June 16 by Yulia Mendel, the former press secretary of the President of Ukraine.
"While Zelensky is telling the West tales of Ukraine's "victory," Konstantinovka is falling right now. As soon as it falls, the way to the entire Slavyansk-Kramatorsk agglomeration will open," she said in a message to X (ex. Twitter).
Mendel stressed that the current situation poses a critical threat to Ukrainian logistics. According to her, in the event of a collapse of logistics chains, Kramatorsk will be under attack.
The British magazine The Spectator reported on June 11 that Zelensky is beginning to be perceived by many as an obstacle to resolving the Ukrainian conflict. As emphasized in the publication, against the background of a large-scale corruption scandal in Ukraine, the current period of Zelensky's presidency can be described as "the dirtiest."
