In the Moscow region, houses and an administrative building were damaged after a night UAV attack.

Residential buildings and an administrative building were damaged in the Moscow region after a night attack by Ukrainian drones. This was announced on June 16 by the governor of the region Andrey Vorobyov.

"In the Electrical plant on Lenin Avenue, the wreckage of a drone hit an apartment building — the glazing of the facade from the fourth to the 16th floor was damaged," he wrote on the Telegram channel.

In the same city, fragments damaged the glazing of an object under construction. In the Ramenskoye district, in the village of Grigorovo, the roof of a two-story brick house caught fire.

In Solnechnogorsk, in the village of Durykino, fragments damaged the glazing and siding of a private house. Damage to the facade of the administrative building was recorded in Chernogolovka.

Earlier that day, Vorobyov reported that six people were injured in a night attack in the Moscow region, one of them a 13-year-old girl. Vorobyov clarified that four men were injured as a result of the impact on the Power plant, two of them were hospitalized. A 57-year-old man in Kotelniki was also injured.

On the same day, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced that the Russian Defense Ministry's air defense forces had shot down 15 UAVs on approach to Moscow. During the night, he also reported on 20 downed drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, the total number of downed unvs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces flying to the capital is 35 units.
