Mobile communication quality will be checked on highways in Tula region

In the Tula region, the quality of mobile communications and radio coverage on federal highways, in villages and villages will be checked. More than 5.5 million rubles will be spent for these purposes, according to the State Procurement website.

According to TSN24, the work will take place in 560 settlements of the region and on three sections of the M-2 highway and on one segment of the R-132 highway.

The future contractor will have to evaluate the quality of communications and technical characteristics, as well as identify areas with low-quality services or with their complete absence.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote that Russia will retain cellular communications of the outdated 2G standard for at least 10 years. In a number of regions, the frequency allocation period will be extended until 2036-2037.
