Embankment in Tyumen will be cleared of silt and dirt

The embankment in Tyumen will be cleaned of river mud by the end of June. Cleaning is carried out daily by Tyumengormost specialists, the press service of the Mayor's office reported on Tuesday, June 16.

The passage to the lower section is still closed. In April, the first tier of the embankment completely went under water, and in late May and early June, the walking area "returned" to the mud.

After the flooding, silt and sand remained there, with small stones lying in places. For a long time, there was an unpleasant "fishy" smell near the descents to the lower floor, writes the news agency " <url>".

Due to the sharp decrease in the water level in the Ture River, specialists will have to perform a large amount of work. They will try to finish the clearing as soon as possible.

Earlier it was reported that the Yuzhny market, popular in Tyumen, is planned to be dismantled by the end of June. Some of the nearby outbuildings have already been demolished.
