Russian car brand Jeland has announced four models at once

Information about four new models has appeared on the official website of the Russian brand Jeland. The J6 crossover, which is already being produced at the plant in St. Petersburg, will be joined in the model range by the J7 and J8 SUVs, as well as the C5 and C7. Next to the images of these crossovers is a note "On sale soon."

Under the name Jeland, models of two brands of the Chinese Chery concern have now been assembled at once, the Rossiyskaya Gazeta clarifies. For example, the J6, J7 and J8 crossovers are known in Russia under the Jaecoo brand, while the C5 and C7 are known under the Omoda brand.

The Jeland J6 crossover, the first model of the new domestic brand, went on sale on June 11. The model is available in three trim levels at a price of 2.29 million, 2.55 million and 2.7 million rubles, respectively. In all versions, it is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbo engine with a capacity of 147 hp, paired with a six-speed robotic transmission and front-wheel drive. The cars are produced at the AGR holding plant in St. Petersburg Shushary on a full cycle.

As for other models, the Omoda C5 costs from 2.35 million to 2.88 million rubles and is equipped with the same engine as the Jeland J6, but in addition to front-wheel drive, the crossover is also available with full. The Omoda C7 is currently offered for 2.94-3.5 million rubles, depending on the year of manufacture and configuration, it has a 1.6-liter 150-horsepower turbo engine, a seven-speed "robot" and front or all-wheel drive.

The Jaecoo J7 crossover with a 150-horsepower 1.6 turbo engine and front-wheel drive costs 2.85—3.05 million rubles, and with all-wheel drive - 3.2-3.47 million rubles (in all cases, the transmission is a seven—speed "robot"). Finally, the Jaecoo J8 costs 4.22-4.98 million rubles, it is sold with a two-liter 249-horsepower engine, a seven-speed "robot" and all-wheel drive.

Earlier that day, it was reported that the production of a new full-cycle modification of the Tenet T8 crossover had begun at the AGR holding plant in Kaluga. The five-seat version of the Tenet T8 will be offered in a front-wheel drive version, while the currently available seven-seat version is equipped with an all-wheel drive system.
