Putin extended the decree on the procedure for paying for Russian gas until October 1.

Foreigners will be able to pay for Russian gas supplies not only through Gazprombank, but also in other banks until October 1. The relevant decree, signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, was posted on June 15 on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Previously, this deadline expired on July 1. According to the decree, amendments were made to Decree No. 172 dated March 31, 2022 "On a special procedure for foreign Buyers to fulfill obligations to Russian natural gas Suppliers."
