More than 30 children's camps will not open in Transbaikalia

In the Trans-Baikal Territory, 32 day camps for children did not open due to the lack of permission from Rospotrebnadzor. Two more — "Aquamarine" and "Eaglet" will not work due to poor condition.

This information was announced by Natalia Shcherbina, Deputy Governor of the region, at an operational meeting on Monday, June 15, according to RTK Transbaikalia.

According to her, about 27 thousand children are currently vacationing in the camps. The total projected coverage is more than 48,000 children, and it will be implemented even taking into account closed facilities.

Shcherbina also said that the contract with the contractor for the construction of the new building of the Pogranichnik sports camp was terminated unilaterally. The work was supposed to be completed by May 15, but the building is only 15% ready, writes ChitaMedia news agency.
