The Foreign Ministry pointed to the exposure of the Nazi ideals of Germany in attempts to resist the Russian Federation

The actions of the German government demonstrate commitment and nostalgia for the ideals of Nazism, and German Foreign Minister Johann Vadefuhl follows the precepts of the head of the Ministry of Propaganda of Nazi Germany, Joseph Goebbels. This was stated on June 15 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with his Belarusian counterpart Maxim Ryzhenkov.

"Germany missed the Nazi emblems, the Nazi habits that the Ukrainian army is now showing, the Ukrainian so-called nationalist battalions. And Germany is throwing off the veil that hid the Nazi roots, the Nazi instincts, which, as it turns out, have not gone away," he said.

Lavrov added that German Chancellor Friedrich Merz is trying to present the "containment" of Russia as containing Hitler during the Great Patriotic War, which in itself is absurd. And Vadefulh, who calls the staged tragedy in Bucha "a symbol of Russia's terror," according to Lavrov, is an excellent example of a good student of Goebbels.

On June 8, the Russian Embassy in Germany issued an appeal to the German authorities to abandon revisionism regarding Soviet military monuments and recognize the crimes of the Third Reich as genocide of the peoples of the USSR. The diplomats stressed the crucial role of the Red Army and the Soviet people in liberating Germany and Europe from Nazism and called blasphemy any actions that seek to distort the historical truth.

Lavrov said on May 15 that Germany was once again leading the movement in support of Nazism in Europe, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was now appointed to the role of Fuhrer. Lavrov noted that the situation is alarming and resembles historical events, however, according to him, there is confidence that the outcome will be the same as before.
