After a massive drone raid, bridges in the Kherson region were damaged again
Two bridges in the Kherson region were damaged as a result of a massive drone strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced on June 15 by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo.
"After the night attack, the bridge near Chongar was damaged again. Traffic through the Dzhankoy APP is completely blocked," he wrote on his Telegram channel.
The governor added that the nighttime strikes also hit the bridge connecting Genichesk with Arabatskaya Strelka. The message clarifies that traffic on this road is blocked. According to Saldo, the unmanned danger remains, so experts will begin to assess the damage only after the permission of the operational services.
The governor also stressed that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are deliberately attacking the transport infrastructure.
Bridges in the Kherson region in the direction of Chongar and the bridge connecting Genichesk with Arabatskaya Strelka were attacked by Ukrainian drones on June 13. At that time, traffic was also blocked in the direction of the Dzhankoy APP.
On June 10, the Ukrainian Armed Forces once again attacked the Kherson region, where the bridge connecting Arabatskaya Strelka with Genichesky was damaged as a result of the incident. Traffic was first blocked there, and later restored to reverse traffic. It was emphasized that one of the lanes of this transport facility would be blocked due to repairs being carried out there.
